Tell me your story! What life experiences have made you who you are today?
"I feel like I've been battling my whole life. During childhood & adolescence, against perfectionism & low self-esteem. During my 20s, against my narcissistic ex-husband, which anyone who understands narcissists knows what those relationships are like. I won't go into detail here since I'm still co-parenting. During my 30s, I've gone through an intense spiritual awakening connected to a twin flame journey and a dark night of the soul. It's a powerfully transformative process that brought me through the depths of despair while leading me to my higher purpose, and building up my strength and courage to follow it as well as trust my journey. It's also opened up my spiritual gifts as an intuitive guide and healer, which allows me to help others on their own spiritual paths as well as face and defeat darkness that lingers among us".
What is your definition of beauty?
"Romantic classiness & grace. Sexy with a bit of mystery. Understated strength & power".
Do you feel beautiful?
"Yes I do, aside from the normal tired or makeup free or bloated days. I do have some lingering self-worth wounds from childhood, which can affect my self-image, but I think I've largely conquered those when it comes to self-esteem. Though it can affect certain aspects of my life and relationships overall, but the majority of the time I would say yes, I do feel beautiful, inside and out".
What is your favorite non-physical feature about yourself? (After all, beauty is a light in the heart.)
My strength & resilience. I have fought many battles in life and I've carved my own path. Each just makes me stronger.
How does being the woman you are today make you uniquely powerful?
A dark night of the soul and twin flame journey spiritual awakenings are not for the faint of heart. This is why twin flames are not common. That, in and of itself, brought me to a whole new level of strength I didn't know was possible. And the opening of my spiritual gifts brought me to encounters with people and things many don't want to believe are true. That brought me to a level of courage I didn't know I possessed. During the beginning of this, God carried me. Now I walk beside him in spiritual armor, and I'm not afraid to follow my destiny.
Why are beautiful photos important to you right now?
"I have wanted to do a boudoir shoot for almost 10 years, just for me. To be proud of who I am, and to have that to look back on. Even more so now, this is the perfect time to capture the woman I've become".
